When in for dinner. We ordered a large green mixed salad with Eileen's pizza. It was a creamy white pizza with mozzarella, mushroom, and bacon. Such a wholesome meal! We love the ambience and the service was so good, the waiter was super sweet. The pizza names were charming. You have Jacquline pizza or Elisa pizza on the menu to try. Overall it was a charming restaurant with great food. Never been to Italy myself but Masullo pizza is the second best thing you could have. Check them out if you are in Sac!

Came here on a Thursday around 4:30 pm and it was empty. We were seated immediately and the server was nice! She told us the specials and we ordered in less than 10 minutes. I got the small arugula salad and it was delicious and the perfect portion for 1 person. The salad leaves were delicious and the bread was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. The almonds were also a great touch as I've never thought to put almonds in my salad before. I would come back again to try another item on the menu!

I love the meatball appetizer, burrata appetizer, Elisa pizza, and 3 meat pizza. Those are my favorite things to order here and I highly recommend. This place gets really busy but the service is still good, you may just have to wait a while depending on the day. It also gets really loud in here but it is spacious and clean inside. They do have a couple outdoor tables as well. These pizzas are personal size and thin so if that is not your thing you may not like it, but I like all kinds of pizza as long as the quality is good.

Last year I was on a European cruise, and I happened to find myself in Naples, Italy at a restaurant called Antica Pizzeria Port'Alba, which according to Google, is wildly believed to be the world's first pizzeria. There was something so special about having and enjoying a slice of pizza at the world's very first pizzeria, and in the birthplace of pizza. And their pizza was absolutely incredible. There was no getting any more authentic or original than that. Which brings me to my point. Present day -- When I took a bite out of my slice of pizza at Masullo, I was instantly transported back to Italy to the world's first pizzeria. The familiar thin/light/chewy crust, and simple yet great quality ingredients. I think I have found my new favorite pizza spot. Service was an A+. Our waiter was so friendly, and was knowledgeable about the menu. He checked on us periodically to make sure everything was going smoothly, and made sure our glass water bottle was always full. It's pretty spacious inside with a very comfortable simplicity to the design and furnishings and with lots of natural lighting. We ordered two things, the first being the Rosemary bread with olive oil for dipping, and then the Eileen pizza. Rosemary bread with dipping oil (9/10) - it's hard for me to not score high on fresh baked bread with great quality olive oil lol. Bread came out piping hot. Rosemary flavor was perfectly subtle. Our waiter informed us that they get their olive oil locally from somewhere in Woodland, and that it's even available for purchase in the restaurant. After my first bite I immediately asked if I could purchase said olive oil lol. I give the olive oil itself a 10/10. Eileen (pizza) (10/10) - this pizza was absolutely delicious. It's a thin sourdough crust (amazing), with a cream sauce, and topped with mozzarella, crimini mushrooms, bacon, sage, and black pepper. There was literally nothing I didn't like about this pizza, and it makes me super eager to come back right away to try the other pizzas! Also, this has nothing to do with absolutely nothing, but it's next to Ann Phuong Law Offices Lolol.

The pizza was and always is excellent. It is cooked pretty darn perfectly every single time we visit. The salads are great too! It's a little drafty in there but beautiful space-take a jacket if you are a cold person. I believe there is a pizza meter, sometimes you just need to have a most excellent pizza (masullo) and sometimes you have to eat with children and friends that have child like taste buds (insert wherever here).. I'll add my other 'way up on my list' for pizza in sac too and I'll try to not call out ones I don't love.

Masullo has always been a staple place to get really good thin crust pizza. The toppings on their pizza combinations are great and much lighter then other pizza spots tha would leave you feeling shlumped after. Servers here are always quick and very nice, would recommend this place anytime!

The restaurant ambiance is open with well-spaced tables with a bit of a museum-quality with its floor-to-ceiling windows in the front, white walls, white brick wall, and no music. We stopped by on a Sunday evening - which was great from a parking perspective. There are only a handful of parking spaces in front of the restaurant so we ended up parking at the front of the closed business next door. Our waitress was attentive and engaging. Everything we tried was outstanding. From the three appetizers to the pizza and the dessert. We loved the tender meatball, mixed green salad, and spinach & burrata appetizers. Fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The Margherita pizza was amazing: great sauce, fresh mozzarella, and the dough had such a fantastic texture. We would've loved a few more basil and a heavier hand with the salt though. For dessert, we shared a silky smooth lemon possete and decaf coffee. I had to look up a recipe for lemon possete so I could make it at home. I didn't even know such a beautiful dessert existed!

Impressed with their pizzas. Friendly service. Restaurant is spacious and open. Saw a lot of togo orders while we were there.
